You are not alone as you take this next step in your path to educational and financial success. IUPUI has resources to help you understand your finances and make smart financial decisions. The actions you take now will put you on the path to financial success.
Prepare for financial success
Tuition and fees

Although every student is different, IUPUI has a base cost of attendance to help you estimate costs.
Develop the financial skills you need
Every student can use a little help making informed financial decisions during college (and after). IU’s Office of Financial Wellness and Education has tools to help you learn more about budgeting, saving, developing credit, and more. Visit IU's MoneySmarts website to start developing your skills today.
Get the information you need
We’ll have important information to share with you about your financial aid. When we do, we’ll let you know by sending an email to your university email address. Get into the habit now of checking your email regularly.
Don’t have an IU email address? Follow these steps to set up your account now.
Find the figures you need
Your Cost of Attendance gives you an estimate of the cost of being a student at IUPUI. But it’s only an estimate. Your costs, including your tuition and fees, can vary depending on your academic program and the number of credits that you take. To get an estimate based on your personal details, use our cost calculator to help determine your costs.
Borrow only what you need
Student loans can be an important way to invest in yourself and cover your costs. But if you need to borrow money, don’t borrow more than you need. We'll offer you loans up to the maximum amount you can receive but you get to decide how much to borrow - some, none, or all. Not sure how much to borrow? Contact us at finaid@iupui.edu and we'll help you crunch the numbers.
